Description:

Will be responsible for purchasing machined components and welding from requisitions, bills of material, notices of correctionsIdentify and qualify sources of supply capable of fulfilling the obligations required on the purchase order.Act on assigned projects to solve problems quickly and maintain the delivery schedule, whether vendor error or Ingersoll caused.Supervise the project to coordinate all functions including, but not limited to, shipping and receiving of parts, quality assurance, vendor processing, engineering changes, and final acceptance.Advice management on activities related to the order.Write a request for a quote, letter of specifications, bid tabulation, letter of recommendation request approval, and write a purchase order. Supply engineering drawings, specifications, and monitor vendors.Negotiates prices, deliveries, and payment terms
